The Girls

An unexpected day with 2 of Asha's friends coming over...we've just said goodbye to them at 10pm. Isabel's Dad ended up coming over having a late dinner with us which was lovely. He's in the music industry so summers are crazy busy with him...so extra nice to have some time together. 
We took the kids to the frog pond with a picnic and cake...they had a good time pottering and playing and making bracelets. 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) A lovely shady and green spot - green areas are hard to come by in town, and this one's only tiny...but somehow you feel a million miles away from the city despite being smack bang in the middle of it!
2) The girls all getting on well - sometimes this trio can be a bit tricky, but today it was mainly smooth.
3) The dad's of these 2 sat round the kitchen table enjoying a beer and a natter. A good way to end the day...though Danny's hasn't ended yet, he's just started on his dissertation now.
