Lovely Saturday

Having gone to bed at 11pm (very unheard of), had a solid sleep, up for a comfort stop at 6am then awoke at 7:50am. As the weather was predicted for another hot day, took the dogs for a long walk over the country park (see extras). Unfortunately Lili seems to be losing her sight and Oscar losing his hearing. You can call Lili but she won’t always see you unless you are a certain distance; Oscar doesn’t hear you when you call him, end up SHOUTING at him (actually ended up putting him on the lead). Managed around 5,000 steps.

Back home, leisurely breakfast and catch up with iPad activities. Then lunch!

This afternoon we had decided to try and see if we could take AJ out - with such lovely weather thought it would be nice to take her for a coffee. She was a bit tearful when we arrived but agreed to come out with us. It’s about a 10 minute walk into town (downhill going ….). Town quite busy (thought it would be quiet with the tennis). Headed straight to a well known general store that has a coffee shop indoors (most of the outdoor ones were busy). AJ enjoyed a cup of tea (actually around 3 cups as we had taken her cup from the home) and a sticky bun (see extra). Hubby also enjoyed a frapachino (see extra).

Back at the home (glad hubby pushing the wheelchair), left AJ after a big hug and lots of smiles from her.

Movie tonight - Man from Toronto (comedy action film). Will feedback tomorrow.
