Zephirine Drouhin is an old fashioned deep pink Bourbon climber.
Developed by French rose breeder, Bizet in 1868.
It is thornless and most important has the most beautiful scent.
Mine does suffer from some black spot, but I can put up with that for such a lovely rose.

Such a glorious summer’s day. Not too hot as there is a gentle breeze.
Have spent an enjoyable hour or so sat in the garden reading the Yorkshire Post.
A barbecue tonight to make the most of the good weather.
