Friday night in the garden with the neighbours

I'd like to think that the neighbours planned this wee get-together in honour of our return to Edinburgh from our holiday today. In reality, it is simply a Friday night gathering organised by the committee that handles the business for our beautiful shared garden. Mr hazelh, Paddy, and Caitlin are to the left of the group.

We were the first to leave the party - for Catan (won by the world champion), dinner, and Catan again (won by Caitlin) - and probably a little too much fizz. Still, I had a great time this evening with friends, neighbours and family :-)

I also learnt today that it will be the 200th anniversary of the building of our house in 2023.

Exercise today: walking (10,342 steps).
