Lunch break…

At last, D was able to collect the motor mower. It’s been away for repair for ages. And there was no charge. They seemed embarrassed to have kept it so long. It started a treat.

But it was hedge cutting on the agenda today. And then it was lunch time, and then it was school home time which meant not a good idea to continue the front hedge. And the book is taking a while to get into so needed a little longer time over a coffee…

But, we did unearth a once much loved garden set from a mass of bindweed which is putting in an appearance yet again on the other flower bed. So that bed got a look in and the hedge is waiting to be finished.

I watched the men’s semi-final while sewing the last cover for the foam window seats. And I want to say thank you to a friend who’s got a tough day coming up soon and gave time to chat with me this afternoon.
