Latest Gallery Acquisition

This is a birthday card given to me by my dear friend and favorite Blip Buddy Mary Jo.  I couldn't resist framing it so I could add it to my rodent gallery.  Before you remind me that a possum is a marsupial and not a rodent, it doesn't matter.  It's my gallery and I can hang anything I want in it.

A number of years ago when I worked at the very gallery that framed this picture I made the comment that there just wasn't enough rodent art in the world.  I, being a lover of mice, chipmunks (I know, I know -- they're not rodents either) and all like creatures, have collected some cute stuff over the years and have framed a few things that comprise my Rodent Gallery.  I'm delighted to add Mary Jo's card in a place of honor.  The framer put the inside of the card with her lovely sentiment on the back of the picture.   I am so lucky to have her as a friend.  She always makes a bad day good and a good day better.
