Morning has Broken

The day started relatively slowly after having woken up very early. The weather forecast was not great with a fairly cloudy day forecast. In fact the temperature reached a comfortable 21 degrees, and a reasonably cloudless sky.

Having had a late breakfast I had an early lunch as I had a meeting at 2 pm. So many signatures, but at the end of it I had bought and paid for an apartment on Lake Como in the village of Lenno about 18 kilometres north of Como.

The process of buying an apartment in Italy has turned out to be pretty straight forward and hassle free. It is a two bedroom apartment about two hundred metres from the lake on the ground floor, with a small garden and with the shared use of a swimming pool.

I passed an hour or so in the apartment this afternoon to see what I might need to acquire to make it more habitable. The most urgent things seem to be a coffee machine, television and BBQ.

There could be an increasing number of Blips from Lake Como over the course of the summer!
