Wednesday: New Potatoes …

… freshly picked this morning, bought some Jersey Royals at Lidl to go with them - delicious!
After this morning’s shopping had lunch and then a few gardening jobs:
Used some of the potato compost to start of the Forage Peas for pea shoots also transplanted 2 of my very weedy cucumber plants into potato compost.
The blackbirds are enjoying digging in the spare compost which I’ve left on the tray for them - lots of worms and bugs!
Greenfinch and Goldfinch were busy foraging in my flower pots, they were eating flower seeds - cranesbill and white Herb Robert.
