Not Too Inviting.....yet!

Took the winter pool cover off today. I was surprised at how clean the water was. Not sparkling blue...but it will be soon. There is a bit of muck at the bottom of the pool but that's easy to clear. Not too much work to do. It needs a shock treatment and then vacuuming. Fingers crossed it could be up and running by next week.

I had to go and get a new vacuum cleaner today as Oscar chewed through the cable of the other one. When I got to Currys they were giving £110 for the old cleaner against the Dyson I wanted. So back home I went, picked up the old cleaner, then returned to the shop. I think I got a new Dyson for a good price. There are so many attachments with it. I've played with it a fair bit today and the house is now sparkling! I'm baffled as to how I get the dirt out now....better read the literature that came with it.

Went for a walk this afternoon as the weather was so nice. Walked to a nice little country pub with my friend had a drink and walked back.....the benefits of working part time!
