Shortsighted cat

With Ottawacker Jr. out of commission, we cancelled our plans to visit Mitch for the lambavaganza and settled down to a much quieter Canada Day than planned. We'd already decided to NOT go into the centre because of the planned Freedumb protests (which were well policed this time), but missing out on the visit to Mitch was harder to take. 

So as we were all hanging out and I was cooking the lamb here (I'd defrosted it, so it had to be used), I popped my head out onto the back deck to see why everything was so quiet. This cat is getting ideas above her station: she'll be demanding a knife and fork for her kibble next.
