Foot Fungus Corner

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

Today was a very busy day. I bounced from meeting to meeting.

I have SO many notes to write up tomorrow. Ach.

On the plus side, I really did have fun in between meetings. Ellie, Corrie and Jefe were all there today. I even bumped into Shenée unexpectedly on my way into the office!

And Manda came into town. Ellie and I made plans to meet her and Jefe for lunch.

I explained to Ellie where the place was. "Oh, that's on Foot Fungus Corner," she replied.

Erm. 

WHAT?!?

She told me that she had stopped at that corner about a year ago with Shenée and myself and shown us her foot fungus.

I'm sure I would have remembered. 

"You do realise that's my title for today's blog entry, right?" I said.

Some days the titles just suggest themselves from quotes from my friends.

But before we even got to Foot Fungus Corner, we passed a jewellery shop where Ellie spotted this elaborate necklace featuring a spider and two flies encased in resin. She thought this was INCREDIBLY cool and so I suggested we go in to have a look. 

"It's bound to cost a FORTUNE!" she said, horrified. 

But that's no reason to not have a look. Was my line of argument.

And we had SUCH fun! Steph Lusted, the artist who makes the jewellery was in the store and she LOVED showing it to us! She gave us the whole history of the piece (including where she got the spider) and let Ellie wear it and EVERYTHING.

It was a grand little adventure in the middle of the day. I think Steph enjoyed it too.

Our lunch with Jefe and Manda was also fun. I may have mentioned how Caro, Manda and Ellie all have plans on how to dispose of our bodies if they ever decide to murder their partners. 

"Oh yes, I frightened AJ one time," said Ellie.

"Oestrogen makes you dark," said Jefe. 

And that was my OTHER possible title for today.
