Manic Saturday

Wow, what a day. After posting last nights blip, Annie glanced at the BA app to see our flight we’d already checked in for and due to leave Heathrow at 7am, had been cancelled. Annie calmly searched for alternatives and within 90 minutes, we had found an alternative flight with Wizz Air from Luton. It meant leaving at 7pm, not 7am but at least it was going and today, pretty impressive given there were 6 of us (Annie, me, Immy, Ollie, Rosie and Ted).

To cut a long story short, I’m typing this at 1.30am on Sunday from beautiful Iceland. We’re here, hire cars collected and Airbnb located. The sun barely set and now it’s getting lighter!
