Surprise

Katie's house parent and matron helped arrange a little surprise for my beautiful girl. Between us, we managed to arrange for me to be waiting in the house office when she came home from supper.

To quote her house parent "it was so wonderful seeing you and Katie reunited on Thursday, I won't forget the sheer joy on both your faces to be together again, a really special moment". She screamed and sobbed and wiped me out onto the sofa, hurling herself into my arms.

Then this evening I got to see my girl play in the beautiful surrounds of the cathedral, beaming because she knew her mama was there. I walked her back to the house when she was done, with a big grin on her face.
