Shuttle Runs

This day has been looming large on the calendar for a while and it was as busy as I expected it to be. Early up and coffee for breakfast before leaving the house;
0815 - Falmouth to Chacewater in the Polo
I dropped the Polo at the garage for its MOT. Mrs S followed me and picked me up, we had time for a coffee before heading for Treliske Hospital to drop her for her shift.
0945 - Truro to Falmouth in the T4
Home, answered some e-mails, little housework and some shopping before
1230 - Falmouth to Greenbottom in the T4
Annie’s for my pedicure, relaxing as always then it was a hop down the road to Chacewater to pay for the Polo’s MOT
1430 - Chacewater to Falmouth in the T4
I parked at home and quickly headed to the council offices for a meeting to discuss the Sea Sunday parade in a little over two weeks. The meeting overran.
1700 - U1 bus from Falmouth to Truro
1800 - T1 bus from Truro to Chacewater
1830 - Chacewater to Falmouth
Having collected the Polo I headed straight to Falmouth and the Royal Cornwall Yacht Club for another meeting. The meeting went ok but really disappointed with the ‘supper’ the provided, £12 for a portion of fish pie accompanied by peas and carrots. A portion that I wouldn’t have had the nerve to offer as a child’s portion, very poor value for money.
2145 - Falmouth to Truro in the Polo
Collected Mrs S at the end of her shift.
2230 - Truro to Falmouth
We made it to Falmouth McDonalds as the last car through the drive through where we grabbed a much needed meal.
Home a little before 2330 at the end of what has been a long day.

Todays photograph taken in the cemetery shows that amongst the driving I did manage a quick forty-five minute walk with Paddy.
