With grateful thanks to my friend Giles I was able to spend some time in Bushy Park this morning. I'm getting around quite well on the crutches now but it is tiring. And I am missing shots fumbling with crutches and a camera. That said it has to be the best medicine.
Also, I am in the throes of packing up my home and moving to a flat. 
My new resolution once I have moved and am off crutches is to spend more time on Blip, commenting etc..
