End of an Era

This is our friend Cathy (used to be blipper) who came to dinner on Canada Day.   First time as a widow. She is about to put her island home on the market so there was lots to talk about!   We’ve known them almost from the beginning here and will miss her… It’s definitely too much for one person to maintain as we know.   We’ll be friends another way.    Wanted to catch her in her hubby’s boat…not sure how many more times it will come to our dock…the sun was still too bright to catch any sunset. but I've put the flags in the extra...
Canada is 150 years old today...there was more boat traffic than usual.....maybe we'll hear fireworks tonight...
Big weekend here with the 4th coming up too.    And visitors!!
