Fragrant Isle Lavender Farm...

...on Washington Island. The owners said the lavender should be at its' peak within the next two weeks, but what was blooming already was breathtaking, and the scent of lavender on the air was wonderful! I bought a few things at the shop, and we ate at the little cafe there, where, in addition to sandwiches and drinks they also served lavender cookies, lavender infused scones, lavender macaroons, etc. I had the scone and my brother had a cookie, so we halved them so we could try them both--delicious!  :)
