It's 4 o'clock somewhere

Is that the magic hour for starting to drink?
Happy Canada Day!
This was a plaque that we had hanging on our porch for a long time, and when G was doing some staining, he took it and another one down and left them stacked on my potting cart that I haven't used for ages.  I hadn't noticed until this morning that this one had deteriorated. It was on top of the other one which isn't as badly damaged but won't be hung up again.
I spent several hours in the garden, watering, weed whacking, raking, thinning - so no walk today. The garden looks good though.
For the past few mornings, I've disturbed a junco whenever I water or walk by the thyme in a big pot. It chatters away at me until I go inside. G was convinced it had a nest in the thyme but I wasn't sure. I'd had a brief look a couple of days ago, but today I had a good look, and sure enough, there's a perfect little nest with 4 lovely eggs in it! The highlight of my day! I won't be disturbing the nest again, maybe just give the plant a bit of water around the edges with the watering can. G was delighted too.  I might take a photo of the nest once the babies have hatched and fledged. :-)
It's nearly 5 o'clock and I'm ready for a glass of white in the garden!
