Dropping off....

...a load of gravel for the track to the house , something that strangely needs topped up every few years, presumably because it sinks into the ground creating a firmer base but one more prone to potholing. 

It arrived  a bit later than expected today because the original lorry broke down - the best laid plans of mice and (quarry) men, etc but it does mean the second load will have to wait until Monday.   .
