Best laid plans

Garden centre visit at the weekend, J was looking at plants and things, I mooched around the bird feeders and bird food. After much internal debate I purchased some Niger seeds to hopefully attract a more diverse selection of wee birds, and fat pellets to give said wee birds extra energy to sustain them while they are feeding their young. The result was feeders covered in Starlings and Jackdaws, O.K. they have young to feed, one lurking around on the fence, but they displace everything else even the pigeons. Back to the drawing board.
