Holiday sum up

Weather
Arrived Friday, blowing a Hooley
Saturday even bigger Hooley
Sunday moderated but still not great
Monday, better but changeable
Tuesday Weather improving
Wednesday very nice
Thursday not bad at all, better than the weather forecast

What did we see,
Day one an Osprey, successfully fishing of the Lossiemouth beach, as there are less than 1000 in the uk to see one catch a fish on the surf line was special.
A pod of Dolphins heading back to the North Sea right past our accommodation, thank goodness for the huge picture window and Ls eagle eyes.
Day 3 found a hidden gem, the Burgie Arboretum
Day 5 watched seals in the water just of Findhorn  Beach. Saw a pod of dolphins with at least one calf heading into the estuary, chasing fish no doubt, again we watched from the sofa at the picture window.
Last day, seals in the water just outside Buckie
There were lots of things we could not do because of weather, strange opening hours, closed for refurbishment and in one case filming Antiques Roadshow. The ups and downs.
Should also add the RAF and some of their foreign colleagues laid on a daily show of military aircraft for us.
And proximity to the Harbour Marina provided a moving tableau  of boats in and out and anxious owners back and forth.
