Practice with pansies

Phew, am i glad to get another shift out the way. Just a night shift tomorrow and then a well needed long weekend off!
Consequently i've not had any blip opportunities today so on my return home i had a play with the camera to try and get the lighting right in dusk conditions without using flash. I think i'm gradually learning a bit about f-stops and shutter speeds but it's a steep learning curve. Anyway, these pretty pansies are positively flourishing in the sunshine after being smothered in snow not so long back. They look lovely in my Uncle Tom's pot and add a lovely splash of colour to the garden. :-)
