Home mid-morning from the overnighter at work. Laid on the sofa with my book, I may have nodded for a few minutes...

But then I rallied and, after a bit of pedalling out back, it was off to the flicks to see Black Phone. We both liked it, pretty solidly entertaining from start to finish with a fair few neat flourishes chucked in.

Now, I've seen these circus posters around my way the last couple of weeks and I'm still none the wiser as to why this particular circus is 'like Vegas on wheels'. I even stayed in Vegas one night back in 1997 when I was touring around the American South West so I have an idea of what the place is like but - on wheels? The mind boggles.
