This is the view from beside the modern Dunbar swimming pool in East Lothian, across the site of the old pool, looking north-west-ish towards the Bass Rock and North Berwick Law.

A couple of days ago I had an idea while talking to a friend on blip, that he might have less problems with blown highlights if he turned down the contrast on his camera then replaced it only where he needed in PS.

I was just kind of "experimenting as I talked" so tonight I went down to the harbour area and took a load of snaps towards the sun with the camera set to minimum contrast.

And I think it worked. SOC? In your dreams!
