Pink-and-Yellow-Kirk
It seems a shame to call it Whitekirk.
Just a quick stop off on my way to work.
This tiny village fills a disproportionately large part of my journal, but especially on a Monday, it is a very handy subject to have.
The yellow is oilseed rape and the pink is Prunus 'Kanzan', a Japanese flowering cherry tree. (At horticulture college the design tutors all despised "The Candyfloss Tree", but I have to admit to a secret liking; it makes a change from daffodils!)
