I took a wee detour on my walk this afternoon into a wood where there was a mixture of old and new trees. The ivy around this trunk was as thick as my arm.

It's been a very wet and windy day - Sarah was following some poor souls on the live tracker who had chosen this weekend to do their Bob Grahams. I hope the weather is kinder for her attempt in 3 weeks' time.

Not much else has happened; it has been a quiet kind of day, a Good Thing after all the excitement of the past week!
