Bee on astrantia

Not much more to say. I'm not even sure what type of bee it is. A bumble of some kind.

It is very windy again today so it was hard to snap anything outside. The bees are buzzing around but they don't stay still for long. The wind is moving all the flowers and plants around so I was lucky to get this reasonably sharp.

We had thunder and lightning last night, just a couple of rumbles. Then very heavy rain but I don't think it lasted long. It's done the pots some good.

A day of pottering. I'm doing some pre-emptive deadheading of plants and I'll do a bit more tomorrow with my grandson. He'll enjoy that. Using up whatever's in the fridge and planning a Sunday chat with my sister. Not much more on the agenda.
