Aubretia ... maybe?

Bit behind with everything so only a flower blip from the garden for today.

I think this is an aubretia, it spends most of the year looking like a soggy carpet that the cat dropped in disgust (actually I don't have a cat but it could have been the neighbour's) and at this time of year becomes an amazing carpet of tiny bluey purpley flowers. The first few flowers are out tonight, each one about half the size of a penny.

All of the rules for flower close-ups broken but I liked the way this landed.
