Beautiful Mill Bank and Cottonstones.

A fierce wind with a little bit of nip to it to make it a chillier day than it has been, but still there has been lots of sunshine and blue skies. It's hard to believe from this photo how the heavy downpours turned this blue sky to dark, dark black so quickly...and then back again in the same quick stick time!

I have enjoyed a beautiful stroll around Cottonstones, Mill Bank and Ripponden. In Mill Bank there was an Owl Trail going on which was fun to see; lots and lots of handmade owls dotted about.

This afternoon it was a pleasure to spend some time looking around The Piece Hall shops. I love the little independent shops.

The Piece Hall is currently hosting a summer of musical stars from Nile Rodgers and Chic tonight to Tom Jones, Paul Weller and Paloma Faith in the coming weeks. The stage is impressive and it's fantastic to see so many big names coming to play in such a brilliant setting.

Saturday night nail painting time now; dragon fruit is the name of the colour this week. :-)
