Reading in the park

I went down to the market this morning to buy some mussels but they did not have the moules de bouchot that are my favourite so I didn't bother. I was on the point of going out to visit a friend who is recovering from an operation but received a phone call not to come as they have a problem with blocked drains and it would not be a pleasant experience! In the afternoon I prepared a canvas before setting off for bellringing practice. We have visitors this weekend so should be able to ring most of the bells.
