Waiting for the Bride
Rosie and Denis got hitched today - an English/French wedding in Wales! The Welsh connection is that her family moved to Wales from Geneva in about 1995 - Rosie came to live with us for a few months before her folks made the move. The two of us were in school together. The happy couple currently live in Hong Kong and whilst most of their guests travelled from overseas to be there, I think they travelled the farthest!
A great day but absolutely bloomin' freezing. I didn't hang around outside the church for taking photos - we all hot-footed it across the road to the pub, where a wonderful home-prepared buffet with roast lamb and crates of delicious French wine awaited us. The puddings were to die for.
This was the youngest of two flower-girls who was waiting very patiently for Rosie to arrive. She was very late because she forgot her bouquet!
