Who’s competitive?!!

Another early start to get to Whitley Bay for James’s sports day. It was another lovely day. We got down in time to park at #2 daughter’s house and walk to school with her.

James enjoyed all the games in his little team. The last event was an egg and spoon race with a parent/carer taking their child’s hand while running with the egg and spoon. Daughter looks quite determined on this photo and James thinks it hilarious.

He had his assessment this week so hopefully they will find out from that what his learning difficulty is and be able to address it. Unfortunately James likes to be ahead and still can’t grasp that his brother has a head start in years and height etc. He was recently at a skating party and really took to it, whereas Thomas didn’t. Maybe they could take him on a Saturday morning.
