First thing to check the calving cows. One new calf well way from herd with it's mother. All checked and more chores around the farm.

Eco son has clients next week so asked me to cgeck out a hill loch for fishing.

I headed to the wee lochan with a stunning backdrop. Not many rising trout but managed to catch the biggest wild brown trout i have caught on the fly. Released and I sat and watched the tadpoles and newts.

Back to see the boy. Some tree trimming chores, chat and I headed home with one of his dogs.
