Little Frog

A ranunculus in early morning sun, glistening with dew. Gosh it could be spring. According to one website ranunculus means little frog in Latin; I am not sure I believe them but it is on the internet so it must be true, right?

Difficult to reconcile this lovely flower with the buttercups growing in the garden we keep trying to get rid of.

Looks like the lawn weeds/grass needs cutting. That must mean it is getting warmer.
