Cranebills and Poppies
I'd seen Naturescape advertising on Facebook. It's a wild flower farm, growing wild flowers for seed which can be sold to all comers.
It's at Langar in Nottinghamshire, around 45 minutes from where I live. Despite the heat, we drove up the A46 to visit. You'll see more photos in the extras.
Rows of meadowsweet, violas, wild mallow, birds foot trefoil, masses of Vipers Bugloss and of course, there were some poppies.
There was a good seating area in the shade under trees, a kiddies' playground and a super little café. Wild flower plants were on sale as were packets of seed.
To top it all, paragliders kept jumping out of a plane taking off from Langar Airfield.
