Woody Wednesday (22nd June 2022)

Another hot day, but quite cool at the glass table under the cotinus, and Woody Wednesday this afternoon took place there, very pleasantly becaming purely social, with Refna, who had done a morning's work in the heat in another garden, as we watched the world of the garden around us and had a chat over an extended tea break. A pigeon crashed noisily onto the table, young jackdaws squabbled excitedly from the TV aerial above, a blackbird visited and a dunnock explored the ground nearby.

Hours later, when I'd gone out with a garden hose, I met a visiting cat who l don't think I'd seen before. I went to get a camera but when I came out the cat was gone. I did little else worth mentioning.
