Better Late….

….Than Never!

This should have been my Blip of a week or two ago. The photograph shows a group of young Royal Engineers on their promotion course at Minley Barracks near Reading.
Four weeks where they learn everything they need to prepare them for that first step up; from Sapper to Lance Corporal, the hardest rank to achieve yet the easiest to lose.
On return to his unit he will eventually wear his one chevron and start to work towards his next. In the photograph Joshua is third from the right in the rear rank.

Meanwhile closer to home it has been a Monday as I Blipped about a couple of weeks ago, a ‘me’ day, a day with no appointments and no meetings, a day where I choose what texts, calls and e-mails to respond to.
I spent a good deal of time relaxing in the garden in the sun.
