My Day (& others)

I’ve never really been excited about Fathers Day, I used to make sure my Dad had a card and if I was able I would visit him over the weekend. So today, after a lie in and coffee Mrs S and I headed out to try and locate reasonably priced fuel for her van, pick up an order from Next and have coffee and cake. Samantha gave me the Jay Blades MBE autobiography which I am looking forward to reading.
As is usual a roast dinner in the early evening, a walk with Paddy when the heat of the day had died away, a long chat with Joshua and then I started on my new book.
Not everybody’s idea of Fathers Day but it works for us.
