Deserted

Final preparations for our departure this morning. Various items to transfer to the cellar for when we get back then a light lunch.

It is now early afternoon, the hottest time of day. Hardly anybody about in the 33º sunshine. It feels more. Where is the taxi?

The taxi does eventually turn up after numerous phone calls. An hour late. Lucky we were not going for a plane or train.

We finally arrive at our MAlpensa Airport hotel at about 5pm  A medicinal beer is definitely a much needed restorative. The hotel looks to be busy. Quite a nice dinner and then to bed. Airport shuttle booked for the morning.
