Walled Garden

It was a bit cooler today, and the sky had clouded over, but we thought it would be worthwhile to visit another garden today. This time we went to Castle Fraser. Here the garden is less colourful, and about half the walled garden is given over to growing fruit and vegetables.

The picture shows a corner of the garden, with just a glimpse of the house beyond the wall.

We walk back past a field with a lot of sheep and quite large lambs. A couple of lambs came over to inspect us, perhaps they were hoping for a treat of especially tasty grass. Unfortunately we were unable to oblige.
