…collecting nectar

from flowers

always seems to - bring to mind - some kind of scripture - passage for me - i’m not sure why - it’s just that seeing - them triggers it - perhaps it’s the way - they all work together - so effortlessly, so seamlessly - they are like - a well oiled machine - and i always think - they have a greater - lesson to teach - us humans if we - would only pay closer - attention to them - of course i believe - that’s the way - of all nature - but in this case - the passage which - came to me was this one

‘be humble and gentle. be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.’ ephesians 4:2 (tlb)

the bees constantly - demonstrate a gentle spirit - towards each other - extreme patience even though - they appear frenzied - and there is a deferment - in the ranks as they - go about their collecting - it is a wonder to - behold every time - i observe them and can - capture them on - a flower and i count it - a privilege to be - in their midst - as they buzz around me - it’s enough to make it…
