Brick Lane

The hottest day of the year. Started it by travelling in to work with my wife, who was in again teaching and I had a two hour meeting which I chaired regarding the initial planning for the GA Conference in 2023 in Sheffield. Had lunch and then down to get the train to London - the train was empty and cool. A detour via Hammersmith to collect car keys I'd lost at the gig last weekend then checked in to hotel in Brick Lane and had a wander before meeting up with GA colleagues and to have a curry and drinks at Aladin and a catch-up with some people I hadn't seen for a few years. Back to the hotel - luckily with air conditioning.
