Blencathra.

This is Blencathra (or Saddleback) taken from Eycott Hill Nature Reserve.  Eycott Hill is near a village called Berrier.  The name was spelt Aiket, a Viking name meaning oak-wood..  Oak woods here, are few and far between these days.  This view gives a different one taken yesterday at Tewitt Tarn.  The white topped posts show the best way to walk through the reserve.
