Around Broadhaven

Glorious weather, although not many clouds in the blue sky. We went to the Stackpole estate and did a long walk around the lake with the lily ponds, which then brought us out to Broadhaven beach. We walked back around the other side of the lake. We then moved on in the car to another car park at the top of Broadhaven beach, south side, which gave us this vantage point. 

Note the red flags. We are not happy with the MOD who have decided to go on exercise this week, thus closing a section of the coastal path, the section that includes four interesting features that we had looked forward to visiting, now we won't be able to! 

We moved on again to Stackpole Quays for another short walk along the top for a different view of the coast. We also spotted some different birds, including the chough - see extra.

After all that we were exhausted from the heat and made our way home to sort our photos.
