Diary of an Edinburgher

Sushi!

I took Archie out for a big walk round the ‘hood - up the lanes and round the graveyard. JR also took him out before we left him with his bone while we popped over to visit Hazel.

We took a gamble and sat outside in the garden, and yes, though it had been sunny then cloudy all day, we had a lovely sunny afternoon. Hazel had got some freshly made sushi from Waitrose - good idea!

We caught up with Hazel’s recent wee holiday in Berlin. We were very jealous because we had a house swap there many years ago and loved it.

We came back home when the sun had left Hazel’s back garden, then we could sit out in our back garden, which still had the sun for a good couple of hours more.

Just watching a programme on the newly completed ‘Elizabeth Line’ in London. What a project!
