Walla Crag

Day 1 of the walking week with our Ramblers group from Norfolk.  We opted for the longer walk up to Walla Crag then across the moor to Bleaberry Fell and High Seat, before returning via Ashness Bridge and Great Wood.  Most people photograph the view from Walla Crag.  I did too, but I prefer this shot of the crag from Great Wood.  It is an imposing cliff face.  Back into Keswick to see the competitors in the Lakesman Ironman Triathlon out on their run....or finished and carrying a goody bag. As I write this in the early evening, competitors are still coming in.  The Ironman started started at 6-20AM this morning......and they are still going.
