Cody The Cat

This is one of our guest cats…or rather this is just a small part of him. He has, shall we say,  a bit of a weight problem…being approximately 100% overweight. He weighs in at about 6.5 kg. He has been used to ‘free feeding’ in his previous residence..but apparently not able to self regulate the intake. He is not particularly happy at getting a small bowl of food twice a day in our house … and gets very vocal to let us know when it needs filling up.

The other cat, Frankie, has barely left her ‘nest box’ and eats much smaller amounts than ‘Fat-Cat’ - and consequently weighs in at a meagre 3kg!

Had a fun day today - our daughter, husband and the two granddaughters came to visit for Father’s Day… I got some beer, some sweets, a Lego set and a small chilli plant (which eldest granddaughter had grown especially)! I spent most of the afternoon losing ‘matching pairs’ games to youngest granddaughter…she has the slight advantage of a photographic memory and is unnervingly accurate at picking out pairs of pictures…
