It’s Quicker

A morning spent with two of my favourite little men (well ones no longer so little!) when MC came round to pick up JoJo…I’d even got a lie in until after 7am! 

The Royal Scot 46100 passed through this morning enroute to York from Edinburgh so we took the little one to see it. We watched it crossing the Royal Border Bridge from a distance then waited on a local footbridge to catch it coming through Spittal…JoJo wanted “more, more woo whoos!” 

Comings (with the bridges in the background) and goings (with the North Sea) in extra 1. Extra 2…the young rook (I think) had either been kicked/fallen out of the nest or been injured and couldn’t fly back so was hopping along the street near where MC parked his car…it’s parents were flying overhead squawking at it, or maybe us!!
