Waiting For An Outcome

Mr Mallard on his lonesome, obviously waiting for a joyous event. Haven't seen the female in a few days, so I think it's safe to assume she's guarding the nest. I've not seen a duck resting on a log before, I didn't know they did that.

Here they are on April 25th and April 3rd. Unfortunately, I didn't post progress since then, although I do have some other photos.
