Hiding In The Undergrowth

Barely a foot tall, these small alliums were not being allowed to show off their natural beauty, hidden away as they were behind their taller brethren. I think I have the name correct, but can't be sure.

Another very hot and windy day. Trying for a sharp shot of any vegetation in these conditions was futile. At least the low growing plants gave me a better chance, but I still waited an age for a lull.
